Minding & Bridging the Gaps

You may feel overwhelmed by your access to information.

From social media videos to apps and online courses, it’s a lot.

Where is the information coming from? And to what degree

can you trust what you see and hear?

You may feel surprisingly alone as you walk this path.

While your friends and family have shared their stories

and offered their advice, this is your unique journey.

What’s arising for you? What decisions need to be made?

And how do you choose wisely?
We’re in the process of developing a course
that is rooted in the latest evidence and guided by two premises.
--
• Pregnancy and birth are healthy, physiological processes.
• Meaningful relationships are cultivated through genuine connection.

As we reflect on the landscape of birth and parenthood preparation,
we’ve noticed some gaps and are here to help bridge them.
Together, we’ll explore:
Labor inductions ( because they have become increasingly and concerningly common )
Practices that promote the safest birth possible ( because common practices are not necessarily the safest practices )
Choosing a birth setting and birth provider who is truly alined with your circumstances and values
What increases and decreases sensations of pain in labor
How to make decisions that are most appropriate and resonant for you
How your early life experiences influence your relationships, especially with your partner
Ways to tend to yourself, your partner, and your relationship as you enter this new territory as parents

Preparing for birth and parenthood
is so much more
than gathering information
and utilizing your intellect.

For your preparation to be well-integrated

and of most benefit to you,
you need to land more completely in your body.

When you land more completely in your body,
you become attuned to what is most resonant for you.

And as you become more attuned,
you're also able to cultivate a more meaningful connection
with yourself, your baby, and your loved ones.

An effective way of navigating this unfoldment

is through the practice of Prenatal Supreme Release Yoga.
Prenatal Supreme Release Yoga

• Cultivates inner awareness and intuition
Decompresses the spine,
with particular emphasis on the pelvis and the heart
• Eases discomforts caused by excess tension
• Soothes the nervous system
• Facilitates muscular release, a labor essential
• Encourages inner listening, a parenting and life essential

To ensure these practices are tailored specifically to you and your needs, you’ll also meet with Lydia in a 30-minute video call.
